Best Horror TV Shows of All Time
The horror genre is slowly making its way into the world of television. Since it's pretty big on the large screen, and people cannot get enough of shitting themselves through horror movies, why not create the thrilling genre into a TV series? All the more to shit themselves over.

Spooky Season is here, and thrillers are a close cousin to horror movies. Rico and I decided to put the ridiculous movies aside and actually watch something that we might both consider to be good.

Zombies. Where did this lovable epidemic come from? When I was a kid in the late 80s, early 90s, I loved horror films. In fact, they were an extension of who I was as a kid. I saw my first horror film at four years old (yes, I remember). As I reminisced in a post I did while ago titled "10 Films I Would Need If Stranded on a Deserted Island":

I knew I was bordering on hysteria as I watched it happen, because all I could think of was that line from the movie Hot Fuzz. Everyone and their mum's got guns round here. Apparently, rural areas are pretty similar on both sides of the pond, because the old lady across the street most definitely had a gun, and knew exactly how to use it.
Mr. Giggles
I once had an old toy...I called him Mr. Giggles. He arrived in a small box on our porch. He was a small brown ball of fur, with only a wide smile of bright white teeth. When I hugged him, he would giggle happily, and it made me feel safe. I took to sleeping with the toy, for comfort...but he was a little scary at night. One night I woke my mom up to tell her he was scaring me. "What is it sweetie?" she said.
Reed Alexander's Review of Oculus (2013)
You don't have to read this review. You can watch the Cinema Sins and pretty much get the gist of what I'm about to say. I got to give the writer and director credit, cerebral horror is a very hard nut to crack and they really did make a stellar effort. They failed it miserably, but the effort was there. Messing with the audience's perceptions is difficult when, you know, they're watching it on a screen and can pretty much already differentiate between reality and the movie.
Reed AlexanderPublished 7 years ago in HorrorIt's Official: Horror Is the Only Movie Genre in Which Women Speak as Often as Men
It's no secret that the battle for gender equality in Hollywood is intensifying. With the continued conversation surrounding the topic — and the monstrous success of Patty Jenkins's Wonder Woman as an example of what brilliant women can accomplish — key figures in the industry are making their voices heard and trying to shake up the existing standards of female representation.

The Hunter family lived in the prestigious mansion, The Mayhem Mansion, atop Devil’s Hill. Though it had quit a creepy name, Devil’s Hill had been the resting place of The Mayhem Mansion and the Hunter family for many generations.

Uncle George
I always knew this day would come. No one is infinite. Everyone bends the knee to the "God of Death" at some point in their chain of existence. But this one is a little different.

I've always been a bit sensitive to the supernatural, and I know that old land means old spirits. Every house I've lived in has either had shadows running in the corner of my eyes or a residual spirit who just repeats. This house I'm in now is completely different. Three spirits that I know of, all intelligent spirits.

I’m Karley. And I was scared of what’s next. See, according to my phone’s guide, Meta, my kids were gone and had no idea where they were. My leads were empty for almost a month until it told me to hunt down the mayor of this bleak and empty town where I’d thought it was only myself that was here. The choices were to either kill him or join him, without knowing the weight of the choices behind either. When I found him on the top floor of this hotel that was downtown, I made pursuit to my children’s kidnapper. The man was reeking of guilt. As I got to the top floor, I was shrouded in a deeply dark hallway. For a while, I couldn’t find his door. When I got to a dim-lit door, there was a photo of my kids next to it on a table. But as I looked back at the door, that’s where the bastard attacked me and knocked me unconscious...
