Bloody Mary

Emma, a young girl, arrives at a party with her cousin Alexa and her friends to celebrate the carnival. The party is expected to be filled with fun and excitement, but Emma is unsure of her ability to walk normally. Her friends, who have never denied her proposal, are denials and don't even make any plans to join her. This feeling of being unwanted is a part of her childhood, as she has always looked straight in the eyes when someone talks to her.

Alexa walks elegantly with her high heels by her side, and the club's gate is in view. Emma takes a deep breath trying to hide her incompetence to walk normally, but fails terribly. She guessed that someone just couldn't be something she's not.

As they approach their side, they are met with excited faces and bright smiles. Alexa pulls her friends into a group hug, uncontrollable screeching voices, one speaking above the other with the unmistakable cheer of excitement. Emma stands patiently behind them and tries to smile, but her feet hurt more.

Emma's friends are excited about her outfit, but she struggles to hold her ground and smile brightly. She waved and butted her eyelashes, cheering them on. Nikol, another friend, compliments Emma's costume, which includes blood on her chin and fangs. Victoria points a finger at Emma, and she spills blood on her dress. Nikol asks if Emma has any tampons, but Emma admits she doesn't have any.

Emma looks at the dress, brushing her fingers on the fabric. It is a black mini dress, given to her by her mother who once upon a time wore it like a second skin. The dress is sputtered with small velvet red roses, which she finds beautiful. Emma is shocked and wants to run or hide, preferably under her blankets and cry. Emily chastises her for mentioning the roses, but Emily sounded more like "Biiiitch you nailed it, again!"

Nikol rolls her eyes and exhales annoyed. Alexa's cheering tone breaks Emma's soul, as it wasn't her job to defend her cousin. However, Emma wants someone to try to defend her once rather than digging her a grave.

As they all turn to walk inside, Emma takes a breath and instantly hears the voice telling her to go home. She almost turns around, but her pride wouldn't let her. She wouldn't let them know they got into her skin.

In this story, Emma is a young girl who is unsure of her abilities and how she will handle the situation. She is unsure if she will be able to stand up to her friends and face the challenges of the party. As she navigates the complexities of her life, she grapples with the emotions and expectations that come with being a part of a group of people who are trying to make her feel accepted and valued.

She turned her gaze to the other girls, a silent question in her eyes. Did you see this? Emily held a hand up to her mouth, a poor attempt to hide her giggles. Her gaze flew to Nikol next, her mouth agape, eyes wide in disbelief. Alexa, on the other hand, was laughing her head off, a loud screeching sound surpassing even the music. Emma shivered at the sound. It sounded like nails scratching a chalkboard.

Emma wasn't a violent person, but right now, she would gladly bite their head off. The first violent wave of shock had passed, and now, all she could feel was an overwhelming sense of violence. She could taste the metallic tang of blood in her mouth. The dark fog had become a bloody rain, feeding which existence, that was so deprived of kindness. She took a breath and brought her drink to her lips again,
