Hridya SharmaPublished about 16 hours ago in PoetsHas German intelligence issued a warning about a potential Russian attack on NATO within this year?
According to an alleged leak of German Intelligence, Russia is preparing for a full-scale war with NATO by 2026. The leak points to the reorganization of the Russian army, movement of troops, and mobilization of the defense industry. π³ποΈ The report suggests that within five years, Russian military strength could double. While the veracity of the report is yet to be confirmed, the evidence of Russia's preparations is already evident. ππͺ Western support for Ukraine has been a critical factor in Russia's evolving stance. The West's reluctance to provide decisive aid and commit to a Russian defeat has emboldened Putin's ambitions. ππΈ Russia has adapted its military tactics, offered lucrative pay packages to recruits, and mobilized its industry for war. Russian defense spending has doubled, and production of military equipment has skyrocketed. π·πΊπ° Sanctions? Psh, Russia's finding ways around those. They're still getting their hands on the parts they need to keep the war machine running. And let's face it, this isn't just a phase β they're in it for the long haul. π€π§ NATO's hesitancy to challenge Russia directly has given Putin reason to believe he could win a war of attrition against NATO's eastern flank, potentially targeting the Baltics, Poland, and even Finland. π¬π Russia's goal may be to force the Baltics back into its sphere of influence, close the Suwalki gap, and prove that NATO's Article 5 commitment is a joke, potentially leading to the alliance's disintegration. ππ The United States' commitment to NATO has become questionable, with former President Trump expressing sympathy for Putin and threatening to pull the US out of the alliance. πΊπΈβ° Europe's starting to sweat bullets over the idea of Russia taking Ukraine and then coming for them next, especially if the US withdraws its support. π©πͺπΊ As Russia prepares for war, Europe must take decisive action to support Ukraine and strengthen its own defenses, potentially even without US support, to counter the growing Russian threat. π€·ββοΈπ¨

Apparently the Aztecs, Toltecs, Chichimecs and other Mexica were crazy about poetry. Despite the book-burning, slaughter, and epidemics that characterized the early stages of the Spanish conquest of the empires of Mexico, some hundreds of poems from the height of their tradition come down to us in Classical Nahuatl, preserved by Nahua and Spanish scholars of the 16th century. One of the most famous poets, Nezahualcoyotl, was a sage-king who opposed the cult of human sacrifice associated with Tezcatlipoca, God of the Smoking Mirror, and favored Quetzalcoatl, the Feathered Serpent. Flowers and feathers were the favorite offering of the Plumed Serpent. Moreover, flowers and feathers are a metaphor for poetry. Individual words, scattered petals, the down of tropical birds. The temples of blood sacrifice could be transformed into temples of flower and song. A sublimated offering to the Heart of Earth and the Heart of Sky encapsulated in the Classical Nahuatl kenning for poetry: in xΕchitl in cuΔ«catl, meaning, "the flower and the song." The following poem is part of a longer work, and is in a state of flux, so take the waters as they flow:

Introduction It was a line I heard and I thought how much of our time is lost in waiting. Actually, while I am waiting I find things to do but there are times when that is not an option.

In the heart of the ancient forest, where the shadows whispered secrets and the pines murmured tales of old, lay the enigmatic Whispering Pinesβa realm of mystery and darkness shrouded in the embrace of nature. Its tangled undergrowth and looming trees bore witness to centuries of forgotten whispers and unseen forces that danced among the shadows.
What if Hitler won WWII in the 1990s
In 1992 Riyadh, a young man named Sabaah speaks out against an extremist mullah preaching violence against German occupiers in the Middle East. Police break up the increasingly agitated crowd. πͺ In the jungles of Venezuela, Captain Tomlin leads American forces against fascist guerillas armed by the German Reich. The intense firefight highlights the challenges of the "peacekeeping" mission that has turned into a war. π« President Eric Johnson holds a tense press conference, dodging questions about aligning US foreign policy with the Reich's interests and the growing crisis in Venezuela, which he downplays as an insurgency rather than a German-backed army. π In Berlin, a German woman named Erma, disillusioned with the Reich after being ostracized for infertility, has secretly gathered evidence of Nazi medical atrocities as a spy for the US. She prepares to defect with help from her American handler. π΅οΈββοΈ At CNN Studios in Atlanta, an anchor grimly announces that the network will be broadcasting shocking footage exposing the Third Reich's ongoing atrocities and human experimentation, provided by a brave German defector. πΊπ£ In the Oval Office, a furious President Johnson berates the CIA director for not informing him about "Project Bluebird", a secret program investigating the Reich authorized by President Kennedy in 1967 without presidential oversight. π‘ The CIA director reveals that Project Bluebird, while constitutionally questionable, was deemed necessary to counter German influence over US politics. He expects to resign as a sacrificial lamb to protect the CIA from the President's wrath. π€ The exposure of the Reich's atrocities and the secret US investigation into them deals a severe blow to President Johnson's pro-German stance. The CIA director is certain Johnson will not run for re-election. π¬ The events of the 1990s in this alternate timeline highlight the complex geopolitical situation, with an ascendant German Reich exerting influence globally, and the US engaged in proxy conflicts and covert operations to counter them. ππͺ The revelations about ongoing Nazi atrocities and secret US investigations set the stage for a major shift in the global balance of power and public opinion, with far-reaching consequences for the world order established after Hitler's victory in WW2. π€―
