Ephemeral dance begins.
Celestial lovers gravitate across the darkening sky,
longing for that extraordinary breath in time, those precious seconds when their hearts connect.
In the distance, voyeurs prepare.
Peeking through solar viewers, ready to capture the lovers’ embrace,
stealing a glimpse of that naturally intimate moment, when
even the stars know to have closed their eyes.

Perfect metaphor, and i love the notion of even the stars knowing to close their eyes ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wow, that last line is majestic. This will sit with me for a long time! Beautiful!
Beautifully unique! Excellent work sis.
Lol!

Excellent entry once again
Awesome!!! Love it!!! You know I was all in with the word "dance"💕❤️❤️
Great last line, Privacy of the celestial being is a interesting take on this, intimate moment
My eyes are closed, much too ladylike to peek at your naked buttocks. You are supposed to watch the eclipse, not snoogle through it. Ah well, enjoy. hehehehehehe.
Wow , I love your interpretation in this acoustic poem 💕
That last line is so 🔥 I love it
Ahhhh. I feel I should blush! 😊
Closed their eyes, wow!! Fabulous Cathy!! 😍😍😍
I like how your poem describes the beauty of a solar eclipse and the idea of it being a private moment between celestial bodies.
