Ephemeral dance begins.

Celestial lovers gravitate across the darkening sky,

longing for that extraordinary breath in time, those precious seconds when their hearts connect.

In the distance, voyeurs prepare.

Peeking through solar viewers, ready to capture the lovers’ embrace,

stealing a glimpse of that naturally intimate moment, when

even the stars know to have closed their eyes.

My eyes are closed, much too ladylike to peek at your naked buttocks. You are supposed to watch the eclipse, not snoogle through it. Ah well, enjoy. hehehehehehe.

I like how your poem describes the beauty of a solar eclipse and the idea of it being a private moment between celestial bodies.
