"You failure..."

Nigerian commentator and online provocateur Daniel Regha is back again with his thoughts, and this time, they are targeted at skit maker and musician, Nasboi. Nasboi, who released his song "Small Money" earlier this month was met with very harsh critique by Daniel who rated the song a 3/10 which Nasboi didn't find funny at all. Now, Nasboi has taken to Twitter to respond to what Daniel said. Here's what happened.

Daniel Regha is clearly a hater of Nasboi's music career. He said about Nasboi and his music:

DANIEL REGHA: Nasboi didn't up his pen game in his new snippet; Lyrically speaking the song is mid at best. Another thing is his catch phrase "Epa epa hee", that might've been a good line for "Umbrella" but it can fit in with every song or theme, so he needs to come up with something better. No offense.

Asake, so far has been the only skit maker that became a success after switching to music; Shank, Carter Efe, Josh2Funny, Broda Shaggi, & a few others were a flop. Anyone who wishes to switch should be fully invested, but most importantly, pick a good mentor. Nasboi for example should choose a career path for now, it's either music or skits. No shades.

Nasboi's new song "Small Money" has a lot of catchy lines but no substance, lyrical content, or replay value. The intro was great (without the epa epa hee) & the beats was dope; However, he needs music mentorship cos very little separates him from the likes of Carter Efe when it comes to lyricism. That said, the background singer(s) did a fantastic job. It's a solid 3. No offense.

Well, it seems like Nasboi has had enough of the hate from Daniel against him. Today, he took to social media to write an open letter to Daniel Regha saying:

NASBOI: Dear @DanielRegha I’m just here to remind you that the only time you tried skit making, you failed at it. Lmao! You failure looking for people to bring down. Slim fool

It looks like Nasboi has had enough. What do you think about what Nasboi said, and about Daniel Regha's constant criticism of Nasboi's music? Do you think it's warranted, or do you think he's just being a hater? Let me know your thoughts by leaving a comment either below or on my Jide Okonjo Facebook post.
