Once upon a time, in a serene timber nestled between towering trees and prattling becks

, lived a lazy crow named Carl and a hastily hopping frog named Freddy. Carl was famed among the creatures of the timber for his laid- back station and disinclination to do any work. On the other hand, Freddy was known for his energetic nature and his partiality for completing tasks with lightning speed. One sunny morning, as Carl lolled lazily on a sturdy branch of an oak tree, Freddy hopped by, his legs a blur of exertion." Good morning, Carl!" he chirruped mirthfully.

Carl slightly opened one eye." Morning, Freddy. What is got you in such a rush moment?" " I have heard from the wise old owl that there is a succulent feast of juicy canvases on the other side of the timber, and I intend to be the first one there!" Freddy blatted, his eyes flashing with excitement. Carl yawned." Sounds like a lot of trouble for a many piddly canvases .

I suppose I will just stay then and enjoy the sun." Freddy shook his head in unbelief." Suit yourself, Carl. But while you are lounging around, I will be feasting like a king!" With that, Freddy danced off, his legs propelling him forward with remarkable speed. Carl watched him go with mild interest before settling back into his comfortable perch, content to doze the day down. Hours passed, and the sun began its descent toward the horizon. Just as Carl was starting to feel a pain of hunger, he heard a familiar voice calling out to him." Carl! Carl! Wake up!" Rubbing his eyes, Carl looked down to see Freddy hopping excitedly below." What is the matter, Freddy? You look like you've seen a ghost!" Freddy caught his breath before replying," I made it to the feast, Carl! But when I got there, I set up out it was just a knavery by the mischievous squirrels.

There were no canvases , just a lot of horselaugh at my expenditure." Carl chortled vocally." Well, well, well, it looks like indeed the fastest frog in the timber can be wisecracked. But do not worry, Freddy, I have got a result." With a mischievous glint in his eye, Carl hopped down from his branch and rumored his plan to Freddy. Together, they set off through the timber, Carl riding comfortably on Freddy's reverse. As they approached the squirrels' home, Freddy braked down, his eyes zipping around for any sign of trouble. Carl, still, remained calm and collected, his mind concentrated on their charge.

Just as they reached the edge of the clearing, the squirrels burst out from their caching spots, ready to hurdle on their unknowing prey. But before they could make a move, Carl let out a loud caw, startling them into indurating in their tracks. " What is the meaning of this?" one of the squirrels demanded, eyeing Carl warily. Carl beamed slyly." My friend Freddy then tells me you played a little knavery on him before moment. Now, I am not one to hold a grudge, but I suppose it's only fair that you make it up to him." The squirrels changed nervous ganders before seesawing reluctantly." Fine, fine, we'll make it up to him. Just please do not peck us!" With a satisfied nod, Carl hopped off Freddy's back and signaled for the squirrels to follow him. Together, they made their way deeper into the timber until they reached a patch of lush verdure bulging with canvases . " Then you go, Freddy," Carl blazoned, waving grandly to the feast before them.

" A feast fit for a king, courtesy of the squirrels." Freddy's eyes widened in amazement as he took in the sight before him." Wow, thank you, Carl! And thank you, squirrels, for making effects right." The squirrels jounced meanly before scurrying off into the green, eager to put the whole fire behind them. Meanwhile, Freddy wasted no time in diving into the feast, his sticky lingo zipping out to catch up cover after cover with lightning speed. As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm gleam over the timber, Carl watched with a sense of satisfaction as his friend enjoyed his well- justified mess. And although he knew that Freddy would always be the hastily hopping frog while he remained the lazy crow, Carl could not help but feel thankful for their doubtful fellowship and the adventures it brought.
