Once upon a time, in a small town nestled between rolling hills and whispering forests, there was an old, dilapidated house at the end of the street. The locals whispered stories about the mysterious box hidden within its walls. They said it was cursed, a relic from a time long forgotten.

The box was said to release money whenever its owner was hurt. Some claimed it was a gift from the heavens, while others believed it was a sinister trap. But no one dared to venture into the house to uncover the truth.

Enter Jake, a curious teenager with a knack for adventure. He heard the tales of the money box and couldn't resist the temptation to investigate. With his friends, Sarah and Mike, in tow, he set out to unravel the mystery.

The old house loomed before them, its windows boarded up and its door hanging off its hinges. Jake hesitated for a moment, but his curiosity outweighed his fear. With a deep breath, he pushed the door open, revealing the dusty interior.

The air was thick with the smell of decay as they made their way through the dimly lit hallway. Cobwebs clung to the walls, and the floor creaked under their weight. Finally, they reached the room where the money box was said to be hidden.

There, in the corner, covered in layers of dust, sat the box. It was small and unassuming, with intricate carvings adorning its surface. Jake's heart raced as he approached it, his hands trembling with excitement.

Without a second thought, he reached out and touched the box. It felt cold to the touch, sending shivers down his spine. But before he could open it, Sarah let out a piercing scream.

Jake turned to see her clutching her ankle, blood oozing from a gash on her leg. Without hesitation, he grabbed the box and opened it. To his amazement, a wad of cash appeared inside.

But there was no time to celebrate. Mike rushed to Sarah's side, helping her to her feet. As he did, he stumbled and fell, clutching his arm in pain. Jake opened the box again, and once more, money poured out.

The trio stared in disbelief as the box continued to produce money with each injury they sustained. It was as if the box could sense their pain and respond in kind.

But as the night wore on, they began to realize the true cost of the money. With each injury, they felt weaker, drained of their energy and vitality. And as the sun began to rise, they knew they had to leave the house before it was too late.

With the last of their strength, they stumbled out of the house and into the light of dawn. As they looked back at the old, decrepit building, they knew they would never forget the mystery of the money box.

But one thing was certain: some mysteries were better left unsolved.
