..another rain poem? π I feel like this would make me laugh in parts if I heard you perform this due to some of the word choices and onomatopoeia. Film it ! Do it! Haha. I donβt think Iβm supposed to laugh but I imagined your wordplay spoken anyway!
Brilliant!!!
I love the rhyme and overall feel of this Paul! I agree the timing does matter and for some the rain can be a mood killer, but I'm one of those looneys that loves a good rain!! Especially on days like today when the rain means it's finally too warm for it to snow in Alberta!!! π I sound like a crazy person but you'd be losing it too if it was still snowing up until a few days ago, where you lived!! π
This really felt like lying in the bath and listening to rain π
This is brilliant! Love the rhythm!
Oooo, this was darker than I expected it to be. Such a Paulitical poem! π©π₯
This is a freakin' brilliant poem, Paul. I love how you wove your themes into the sounds of the rain. Out of the box genius stuff.
Iβm always so amazed at your use of formatting and onomatopoeia to create such a reading experience! So rhythmic like the falling of rain! Well done, Paul!
You and I live far apart but so near in climate- rain and my WIND stories. Gray skies now but there was a break to walk in the woods earlier.βοΈπ¦οΈπ§βοΈπ
Feels like rainy day thoughts to me. π§π¨π¨ Captured it perfectly.
Rain intensifies everything I think. This felt like rain, the rhythm and the sound.
