Letting go

Laguna Beach
Saw it in your eyes
like a fire on a mountain
a soft silent rage
Felt it in your smile
a reflection of myself
salt water that burns
Touched by your silence
your dreamy unspoken words
shook my hidden world
It was your breathing
the air I craved and chocked on
exhaling goodbye
