Hello everyone!

Today is a very special day for me. I am not just announcing a new book. This new book is also my 50th release!

Yes, you read it right. I have authored, co-authored, and co-edited 50 books in a career that (already) spans 18 years.

(And I'm not ready to retire, yet! 😜)

What Is "The Home We Seek"?

A beautiful love story against a backdrop of tragic loss (“By Candlelight”)… A life-changing train journey (“The Train”)… A young woman who abruptly runs away from home (“What Will Happen Next?”)… A powerful tale of love and friendship (“Another Part of Her”)… A meeting between a professor and her student (“Hot Chocolate”)… A grieving young adult returning to the home of her parents after a five-year absence (“When I Left”)…

In The Homes We Seek, Cendrine Marrouat delivers narratives whose rich details, emotions, relatable characters, and life lessons will encourage you to release regret and anger, and find your inner bliss.

The Homes We Seek groups six short stories from three of Cendrine Marrouat’s books: “The Train,” “What Will Happen Next?” and “In Her Own Words”.

Release date: February 19, 2024

Price: $5.99 (ebook) and $13.99 (paperback)

Why A Compilation of Stories that Have Already Been Published?

As you have just read, The Homes We Seek groups six short stories from three ebooks I released in the last couple of years (“The Train, What Will Happen Next? and In Her Own Words”). Two of those stories were too short to be printed as standalone books; and In Her Own Words contains several flashku whose mandatory images would have made the print version too expensive to sell for a fiction book.

When I started publishing my short stories a few years ago, many of you asked if I would ever consider getting back into paperbacks. (I used to do that with my poetry books.) So, in January, I made the decision to bring together all the stories I had already released (minus the flashku) and make a "new" book. Now, you can access everything in one convenient collection! 😉

Where to Order “The Homes We Seek”

The Homes We Seek is available as an ebook and in print from many stores around the world, including Apple, Barnes & Noble, BAM, Smashwords, Kobo, and more. However, I would like to encourage you to purchase my book from your local indie bookstore. Many of them advertise it on their websites, so all you have to do is contact your favorite and staff can order a copy for you. The ISBN number is 9798224081844.

Of course, if your budget is limited, libraries are a great option. In North America, quite a few have my ebooks!

I hope you will enjoy reading The Homes We Seek. I can’t wait to read your reviews on Goodreads and elsewhere.

That's it for today! Thank you for reading.
