“Let there be light.”
One day I might have learned that was a line from another story, but as it stands I won’t. Still, plagiarised or not, it seems a fitting start for mine.
Because my story did start with a burst of light. There were people too. I think that's what they were.
I was angry that I'd been been forced out from the warmth and darkness. It made me want to cry. I might have if the darkness hadn't come back.
I think someone else cried.
My life was about as long as this story.

Oh wow, there’s an eerie proto-emotionality here fitting of a preborn. It makes it sadder, the abrupt ending before the beginning. Very unique approach to this subject, meta, but still incredibly crafted. 👏❤️
Oh, that's hard to read, but very well written. It really hits hard from this perspective.
Oh this was really sad 😔 You did it beautifully though.
What a gutpunch, really excellent use of the micro format
Harsh, but captivating. Beautiful writing. 💓💓
